The range of linear quartz infrared heating elements was designed for applications requiring a very fast thermal response and/or high power density with peak emission wavelengths in the short wave range (~ 1.0-1.2μm).
The standard halogen element is available in 3 sizes:
All heaters are fitted with the industry standard R7s type termination which, when used with a suitable R7s holder at both ends, is used to mount the heater and provide the electrical connection.
These heaters are filled with halogen gas to allow the suppported tungsten filament to reach temperatures as high as 2600C° (4712F°)
With peak wavelength emissions of approximately 1 micron, they are extremely penetrative and allow on/off cycles.

The standard Quartz Tungsten element is available in 3 sizes:
All heaters are fitted with the industry standard R7s type termination which, when used with a suitable R7s holder at both ends, is used to mount the heater and provide the electrical connection.
These Quartz Tungsten heaters with tungsten wire spiral do reach temperatures as high as 1500C° (2732°F).
