Armored tubular resistors for immersion

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Tubular diving armatures are designed to be used in infinite industrial and civil applications.
These products are ideally suited to a wide range of applications where liquid and fluid substances in the major industrial sectors are to be heated. Hence, the need to create high quality, reliability, durability, versatility and performance heaters, in compliance with the strictest safety and care requirements.

Their function is to heat certain liquid fluids (oil, water, etc …) at a given temperature or maintain a certain stable and controlled temperature.
The tubular immersion resistors can take innumerable shapes and folds and their reduced footprint makes them suitable for direct and indirect heating in blind entrance enclosures (resistors intubated in a flanged or threaded tubular shirt).

The use of high-quality materials within our production cycle allows the tubular armored electric resistances of our production to reach high operating temperatures.

USE

The methods of applying a tubular armored resistor for immersion are numerous, given the high tolerance to the most varied types of bend and shape, in all cases of heat treatment of liquid fluids.

Among the most common applications, we find:

CERTIFIED QUALITY PRODUCT

The entire production cycle of tubular diving resistors is subjected to the most rigid dimensional and electrical tests in accordance with our ISO 9001: 2008 certified quality system and in full compliance with CEI / EN standards.
Among the main tests on electrical testing, this type of product is carefully tested for insulation resistance, dielectric strength, ohmic value and leakage current.

TECHNICAL DATA

This type of non-finned or straight single-heater is normally constructed with medium-high superficial surface densities (up to 10 / 15W / cm2 for water heating) and low (up to 3/4 W / cm2 for heating water solutions, oily, oils or acids).

ESSENTIAL DATA FOR DESIGN
  • Sheath material = carbon steel / Stainless Steel AISI304, AISI321, AISI316L, AISI316L S.S., Incoloy800, Incoloy825, Titanium, Inconel
  • Sheath diameter = 6.3 – 8.2 – 10.3 – 12 – 15.4 – 16 mm
  • Terminal pin = threaded
  • Cold section at the ends of the electrical connections (c. “Neutral Zone”) = variable depending on the specificity of the application (min. 40 mm)
  • Heater Stem Center = Min. 8 – 12 mm (U resistors)
  • Supply voltage = starting from 24V
  • Tube Length Shear Length = variable depending on the model of resistance, airflow rate within the ventilation duct and surface density (W / cm2)
  • Power = variable according to surface density (W / cm2)

STANDARD RESISTANCE TO CATALOG

Where such tubular resistors are used in standard conditions, where there are no particularly complex heating requirements and a low delivery time is required, we have a standard stock of standard power, sheath and fold material (straight, U, to M or torch and spiral), either by heating water or static or moving oil.
