Flat band heaters


The band heaters and/or flat heaters (heating pads), due to their multiple uses, are manufactured with different materials for the external sheath, and with three types of internal insulator, that makes them suitable for all contact heating applications. For higher operating temperatures, materials suitable to withstand said variations are used, in order to produce heaters with various combinations of external sheath and internal insulation.

Said combinations allow the heater to express its potentials at its best, based on its application and temperatures required. The raw materials quality used, the experience with which they are assembled and the details care, make it absolutely efficient.

Some uses suggested

A band heater and/or flat heater application methods are based on the type of support that it will hold and the temperature to withstand.

This heater typical applications are: plastic materials extruders and melting ovens, plastic materials injection nozzles, die-casting nozzles, storage drums, pipeworks, hot water boilers, sterilizers, confectionery industry machines, wood processing machines, packaging and wrapping machines, textile machines, buttons moulds and rubber processing moulds.

The various operating temperatures require different combinations between external sheath type and internal insulation, to be selected among the ones listed here below:
