Single-pipe heaters for corrosive fluids


GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Using fairly simple manufacturing processes, it is possible to manufacture particularly sturdy and reliable heaters, to be used in perfect safety in highly corrosive environments.

The wise combination between quality of raw materials and experience was able to obtain a product compliant with the highest standards requested by the various sectors of use.

The external sheaths are made of various types of materials that makes them proof against the various typical acid combinations of these sectors.

Some uses

The corrosive fluids single-pipe heaters are specifically used in galvanic baths, in order to heat or fluidify various highly corrosive chemical components.

They are also used in all those cases where the heater is immersed vertically.

The table indicates some of the most common uses in the galvanic technology sector, where the immersion resistors are used. The table also indicates the surface density (W/cm²) of the heater active section, referred to the type of supply it was built with

  1. Iron galvanic single-pipes (suitable for non-corrosive or oil-based solutions and for caustic soda low concentration prewashing baths)
  2. AISI304 galvanic single-pipes (suitable for non-corrosive solutions, in some cyanuric components electrolytic baths and in some dissolved organic acids)
  3. AISI316 galvanic single-pipes (suitable for non-corrosive solutions, in some cyanuric components electrolytic baths and in some dissolved organic acids)
  4. Titanium galvanic single-pipes (indicated for reactive solutions, copper plating baths and gold-plating cyanuric-base baths, chrome baths, nitric acid and in some organic acids baths)
