GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Given their particular speed, size and strength, the PTC thermistors (commonly referred to as “PTC“) are suitable for temperature-sensitive elements for measuring temperature.
Available in various shapes, sizes and materials, the PTCs are applied in all those areas where the maximum operating temperature does not exceed ≤150°C (300°F).
These devices are composed of sensor, stainless steel housing or polypropylene resin and a cable.
typical applications
The PTC sensors are widely used in the following areas of use:
Extremely reliable, the PTC can be easily used in all areas where temperature control is required, including, for example, emissions control, temperature control, photographic processes, laboratories, etc..
